This is a great way to start your visit to London because of the multiple sites and ground you cover on your bike. My husband and I were the only two people on this tour and it was dreamy! We biked and stopped at different spots (The original Roman wall, the sight of the Roman Arena, a mural in remembrance of the Battle of Cable Street, and, the oldest Riverside Tavern; to name a few). “We took our 4 kids on this tour, ages 13, 11, 9 and 7. The 9 and 7 year olds were on the tagalong bikes which was fantastic—they had to pedal but not get crazy. We ended the tour at the Graffiti tunnel which was the cherry on the top. Katie was our guide and was fabulous with our kids. Absolutely wonderful!

“My wife and I recently joined the Tally Ho Bicycle Tour and lucky enough to have a private experience. If you want to explore the city’s iconic sights on two wheels, get some great exercise, and have a lot of fun, this tour is perfect. Our guide, James, was outstanding. Energetic, witty, and deeply knowledgeable. He tailored the ride perfectly for just the two of us, maintaining a comfortable pace while keeping us safe through the streets and sharing fascinating backstreet stories we would have never discovered on our own. I have to mention his legendary mustache guard. James sports a proper Victorian-style handlebar mustache and carries a dedicated mustache guard specifically for drinking a pint! It’s brilliantly eccentric.

No. Bikes are our first love, but we also run walking tours, black cab tours, private London days, food and drink experiences, and UK day trips. The common thread is not the transport. It is brilliant guiding, good humour, and a day that does not feel like it came out of a laminated clipboard.
Yes, especially the Private Family Bike Tour. We have child seats for ages 9 months and up, tag-along bikes for ages 5-10, and smaller bikes for older children. The pace is gentle, the route avoids busy roads, and the guide can flex around snack needs, energy dips, and sudden deep questions about castles.
You are not alone. Our bike routes are designed to be calm and confidence-building, with quiet streets, parks, cycle lanes, and careful guide support. If cycling still does not feel right, choose a walking tour, black cab tour, or tailored private experience instead. No heroics required.
