Most London taxi tours use licensed black cabs, driven by cabbies who have passed The Knowledge. For larger groups, longer days or trips beyond London, we may use premium vehicles with more room.
Yes. Hotel pickup is part of the format. Your driver-guide will meet you at the agreed time, usually in the lobby. We can also collect from central London addresses, stations, airports and cruise connections when the timings work.
A London black cab can seat up to 6 passengers. Four is most comfortable; five usually works; six is possible when the group is happy with the layout. Larger groups can travel in more than one cab, with the route and stops kept together.
This is a guided private tour, not a meter running between landmarks. Your driver-guide plans the route, tells the stories, handles the timing and knows when a short hop-out is worth it. The cab is the base; the guide is the difference.
Often, yes. Black cabs have ramps and useful interior space, and we can keep walking short. Tell us about wheelchairs, walkers, slower pace, steps or fatigue before booking so we can plan better stops.
The four-hour Best of London Taxi Tour is from £395 per cab, which covers the whole group of up to six guests, with hotel pickup included. Tailor-made routes from 2 to 8 hours are priced to the brief: send your date, group size and wish list and we will reply with a clear quote, usually within a couple of hours.
The price covers the private vehicle, driver-guide, hotel pickup where agreed, route planning and the guided tour time. Attraction tickets, meals or paid interiors are only included when the tour page says so.
