The advertised base fare covers 2 riders. Each additional adult or child using a solo bike or tag-along adds £35. For example, three such riders cost £460 at the advertised rates. Child-seat fares and equipment suitability need confirming before booking.

We're a small, owner-run team — not a franchise. Every tour is led by one of our own guides who lives in London and knows the city intimately. We keep groups small, ride proper British-made bikes, and build our routes around the quiet backstreets and hidden corners that bigger operators skip. Think of it less as a tour and more as exploring with a well-connected local friend.

You should be comfortable balancing, steering, and braking, including on roads. We stop regularly, but riding requirements vary by tour. Check the suitability guidance for your chosen experience, or ask us if you’re unsure.

Our tours run rain or shine — this is London, after all. Light rain rarely stops us, and we provide waterproof ponchos if needed. If conditions are genuinely unsafe (heavy storms, flooding), we'll contact you in advance to reschedule or offer a full refund. Our small-group and private bike tours are also covered by a money-back guarantee.

Absolutely, with three rules. Our classic small-group bike tours welcome riders aged 13 and over, old enough to handle a bike confidently in London and enjoy the stories, tastings, and pace of the ride. The London eBike Tour is different: the law says you must be 14 or over to ride an electric bike, and our riders also need to be at least 1.55m tall, with no pillion passengers on that semi-private ride. For families with younger children, we'd recommend our Private Family Bike Tour, where the whole experience is shaped around your kids. We adjust the route, pace, and stops to suit their ages, with regular breaks for snacks, stories, and loo stops. Because it's just your family and a dedicated guide, we can give you our full attention and keep things safe and relaxed. Child seats, tag-along bikes, trailers, and smaller bikes may be available depending on age, height, and availability. On the Private London eBike Tour, up to two eligible younger passengers can ride pillion behind adult riders, subject to our suitability guidance. Adults who would like to ride pillion can ask us before booking.

Our standard and private bike tours start and finish at 189 Hercules Road. Taxi tours and day trips include Zone 1 pickup and drop-off. For a bespoke bike tour, a Zone 1 hotel start may be possible after we’ve checked the logistics and safety. Other arrangements are by enquiry.

Group limits vary by tour. Check your chosen tour’s maximum and whether you’re joining a shared departure or booking privately. On the private eBike tour, the limit is four riders plus up to two eligible pillion passengers.
